History
The first chapel at Mandrem was officially inaugurated on 16 February 1887. It was originally attached to the parish of Arambol and later received a resident chaplain in 1900.
On 18 November 1932 the chapel was raised to the status of a parish church. As the parish grew, the earlier church space became too small, so a new church building was constructed and completed in 1992.

The parish is active and steadily growing. It serves the Catholic families of Mandrem and also supports the wider village through its schools, convent and parish groups.
The parish is home to the Missionary Sisters of the Queen of Apostles, who live at Rosary Convent and help with education and parish work.
Feast and devotion
