The parish also has a clear community identity, with the church acting as a centre for worship, family life and parish organisation.

Feast and devotion

The feast of Our Lady of Miracles is celebrated on the second Sunday of May every year. It is the main feast of the parish and a major event in the village calendar.

The parish is known for lively prayer, procession and parish gatherings during feast time, and the church continues to draw people from Morjim and nearby areas.
